Our Story

Back in 2008, a small team of energy experts and community organizers asked themselves a question: What if regular people - families, renters, and homeowners - could come together to unlock the kind of deals usually reserved for big corporations?

At that time, solar panels felt financially out of reach. And the dream of a greener home? Just that - for most, just a dream.

We launched our first group buying program, helping thousands save on their energy bills through the power of collective action. Then came Switch Together, bringing affordable, high-quality renewable home improvements to communities across the globe with over 270 000 installations.

Now, in 2026, we are officially bringing that proven track record to Canada.
