Our Story
Back in 2008, a small team of energy experts and community organizers asked themselves a question: What if regular people, families, renters, and homeowners—could come together to unlock the kind of energy deals usually reserved for big corporations?
At the time, navigating utility options was confusing and costly. Solar panels felt financially out of reach. And the dream of a greener home? Just that, a dream for most.
We launched our first group-buying program, helping thousands save on their energy bills through the power of collective action. Then came Switch Together, bringing affordable, high-quality solar installations to communities across the globe with over 270.000 installations.
Now, in 2026, we are officially bringing that proven track record to Canada.
